Exhibition at the 198 gallery

The exhibition “People Signs & Resistance: On the front line” ran between December 2008 to mid February 2009 at the 198 Gallery in Brixton.

  • An installation exploring the origins of multi-cultural Britain in Brixton by Tim Blake. 
  • Video project researching groups active on Railton Road (the epi-centre of the Brixton Riots) including; The Black Panthers, Anarchists, Activists and Rastas by George Butler and other participants.
  • Jesus dies for our sins (Neon sign, explores church spaces being used as something else) by Nada Prlja.
  • Youth documentaries (short films exploring the sus-laws & other subjects) by George Amponsah and other participants.
